The following small-cap stocks have made fresh 52-week high today – Globus Spirits, Kitex Garments¸Automotive Stampings and Assemblies, Creative Newtech, Aurionpro Solutions, Mindteck (India) and Tata Teleservices (Maharashtra).

Indian equity markets persisted in its upward trend for the third day in a row. Frontline indices Nifty 50 and Sensex climbed more than 0.60% each, ending a rather choppy session at 17,925.30 and 60,223.15 respectively. BSE Small-cap index relatively underperformed broader markets, closing the session at 29,901.12, with losses of paltry 24.55 points i.e. 0.08%.

HFCL – The company has recently announced the powering of its network offerings with Artificial Intelligence (Al) based analytics, partnering with Aprecomm, the leading Al-powered Wi-Fi analytics technology provider. Henceforth, the company’s entire 10 product portfolio will have seamlessly integrated Al-powered network analytics, enhancing the experience for network service providers as well as the end-users. It plans to offer this Al solution to its existing customer for over 100 thousand existing deployments.

Sterlite Technologies – The company has today announced its commitment to become a carbon-neutral company by 2030. To quote an excerpt from the company’s filing with the exchange,” Relentlessly innovating towards eco-friendly product development, STL has conducted Life Cycle Assessments (LCA) for ten OF cable families and aims to cover 100% of its portfolio by 2030. Its Celesta cable reduces the overall plastic content while Aerial cables (ADSS) reduce the usage of harmful thermoplastic like Aramid yarns.” 

Recently, at the COP26 Summit, nations discussed the importance of urgent climate action. They have committed to reducing emissions and limiting the average annual temperature rise to 1.5 degrees. According to estimates, the Internet and supporting network components account for 3.7% of global greenhouse emissions.
