List of top 5 gainers and losers in the Midcap and Smallcap segment for the week from January 06, 2022, to January 12, 2023.

The frontline index S&P BSE Sensex stood flat gaining 0.10% or 57.66 points during the week and closed at 59,958.03 on January 12, 2023.

S&P BSE Mid Cap slightly declined by 0.08% at 25,147.20 during the week. While the S&P BSE Small Cap ended in green at 28,995.87 gaining 0.04%.

The company in its exchange filing disclosed that it has received the approval from BSE for the de-classification of M/s. Shapoori Pallonji as ‘Promoter’ and reclassification of the promoter Forbes Campbell Finance Ltd from ‘Person belonging to Promoter group’ to ‘Public shareholder’.

On January 10, Jindal Worldwide announced that its subsidiary is setting up a new electric vehicle manufacturing plant and fully-automated battery plant with production capacity of 2.5 lakh vehicles annually.

The company held a board meeting on January 12, 2023. The management of the company approved the issuance and allotment of up to 55,83,334 fully Convertible Warrants of the face value of Rs 10 each, carrying a right exercisable by the Warrant holder to subscribe to one Equity Share per Warrant to persons belonging to ‘Promoter & Promoter Group’ and ‘Non-Promoter, Public Category’ on preferential basis at an issue price of Rs 360 per Warrant.
