CreditAccess Grameen, Laurus Labs and Elgi Equipments have witnessed a volume burst in the last 75 minutes of the trade.

As the saying goes, the first, as well as the last hour of each trading session, is the most important and active in terms of price & volume.

More so, the activity in the last hour is said to be of utmost importance because most of the pro-traders and institutions are active at this time. Hence, when a stock sees a good spike in volume in the last leg of the trade along with price rise, it is considered a pro and institutions have a keen interest in the stock. Market participants should keep a close watch on these stocks as they can witness good momentum in the short to medium-term.

So, based on this principle, we have shortlisted three stocks that have witnessed volume burst in the last leg of the trade along with price rise.

CreditAccess Grameen: The scrip jumped nearly 4% today backed by above average volume. It made a strong V-shaped recovery on the daily technical chart, which is positive. The stock turned volatile as it made strong movement in both directions in the last hour. Above average volume was recorded during this period. We can expect it to remain on traders’ watchlist in upcoming days.

Laurus Labs: The stock jumped 3.50% in Wednesday’s trading session. It traded positively throughout the day and volume continued to rise. It closed nearly at day’s high and was accompanied by good volume. It has formed a double bottom pattern and with such strong rise in volume, the stock is expected to trend positively in times to come.

Elgi Equipments: The scrip soared 3.21% today. It has gained for fourth consecutive day and recorded good volumes. Most of the day’s volume was recorded in the last 75 minutes of the session, when the stock jumped nearly a percent. Overall, the stock looks bullish and is likely to trade on a positive note.
