Aditya Birla Fashion & Retail Limited, Balaji Amines, and Dhanuka have witnessed volume burst in the last 75 minutes of the trade.

As the saying goes, the first, as well as the last hour of each trading session, is the most important and active in terms of price & volume.

More so, the activity in the last hour is said to be of utmost importance because most of the pro-traders and institutions are active at this time. Hence, when a stock sees a good spike in volume in the last leg of the trade along with price rise, it is considered a pro, and institutions have a keen interest in the stock. Market participants should keep a close watch on these stocks as they can witness good momentum in the short to medium-term.

So, based on this principle, we have shortlisted three stocks that have witnessed volume burst in the last leg of the trade along with price rise.

Aditya Birla Fashion & Retail Limited: The stock surged over 4 per cent today. It traded higher the entire day and gained momentum towards the end. In the last 75 minutes, the stock witnessed a huge volume burst. About 50 per cent of the total day’s volume was recorded during this period. This induced volume can be attributed to institutional buying. With buying emerging towards the end along with rising volumes, the stock is expected to trade positively in the coming days.

Dhanuka Agritech: The stock shot up by a massive 15.13 per cent on Friday. It scaled to newer highs as the session progressed and witnessed huge volatility in the latter half of the session. In the last 75 minutes, the stock made huge swings in both directions. About 60 per cent of the total day’s volume was recorded in the last hour. The volume recorded today was also more than 10 and the 30-day average volume. With the above-average volume recorded, the stock is expected to be trading actively soon.

Balaji Amines: The stock rose nearly 7 per cent during Friday’s trading session. As the session progressed, the stock traded higher in line with the broader market. The volume recorded was much higher today compared to the last 10 days. Moreover, the stock closed at the day’s high, which indiates that it might be in trend the next day.
