Welspun Corporation, Polyplex Corporation, and Ginni Filaments have witnessed volume burst in the last 75 minutes of the trade.

As the saying goes, the first, as well as the last hour of each trading session, is the most important and active in terms of price & volume.

More so, the activity in the last hour is said to be of utmost importance because most of the pro-traders and institutions are active at this time. Hence, when a stock sees a good spike in volume in the last leg of the trade along with price rise, it is considered a pro, and institutions have a keen interest in the stock. Market participants should keep a close watch on these stocks as they can witness good momentum in the short to medium-term.

So, based on this principle, we have shortlisted three stocks that have witnessed volume burst in the last leg of the trade along with price rise.

Ginni Filament: The stock gained over 7% today with most of the gains coming the last hour of the session. The volumes shot up and accounted for 70% of the total day’s volume. The stock closed above its prior swing high and at a day’s high. It is likely to stay on traders' radar in the upcoming days given fresh buying interest.

Welspun Corporation: The scrip witnessed strong buying interest as it surged nearly 5% on Wednesday. It recorded above average volume which stood greater than the 10-day and 30-day average volume. The volumes were largely concentrated towards the end when the stock jumped over 5%. With such positivity, we expect the stock to be traded heavily in times to come.

Polyplex Corporation: The stock soared about 12% and registered a breakout from its double bottom pattern. The volumes have been massive and highest in many days. Over 22 lakh shares have been traded on Wednesday and demonstrates strong buying activity in the stock. Thus, with such huge buying interest, we can expect the stock to be trending higher in near future.
