NHPC, Garware Technical Fibres, and Oberoi Realty have witnessed a volume burst in the last 75 minutes of the trade.

As the saying goes, the first, as well as the last hour of each trading session, is the most important and active in terms of price & volume.

More so, the activity in the last hour is said to be of utmost importance because most of the pro-traders and institutions are active at this time. Hence, when a stock sees a good spike in volume in the last leg of the trade along with price rise, it is considered a pro, and institutions have a keen interest in the stock. Market participants should keep a close watch on these stocks as they can witness good momentum in the short to medium-term.

So, based on this principle, we have shortlisted three stocks that have witnessed volume burst in the last leg of the trade along with price rise.

NHPC: The stock surged 6.37% on Tuesday. Despite trading with volatility during the start of the session, the stock gathered momentum towards the end as it shot up over 3% in the last 75 minutes. The volumes stood above average and greater than 30-day average volume. Interestingly, the stock registered a breakout from its falling trendline. Thus, we expect strong upward movement from this scrip in times to come.

Garware Technical Fibres: After consolidating for 3 trading sessions, the stock received strong buying interest as it surged 5.89% today. With this, it closed above its prior swing high with huge volume. The volume tends to be above average, with most of it coming in the last 75 minutes of the trade. The stock traded flat for nearly entire day, but towards the end, saw a sharp upward rally. With such positivity, it is likely to see strong trading activity in coming days.

Oberoi Realty: The stock broke out from its triangle pattern with huge volume and surged 5.25% on Tuesday. It continued to rise, and volumes built as the day progressed. The scrip closed above all its key moving averages and is expected to remain positive in near future.
