These stocks see huge volume burst in the last leg of the trading session!
GSFC, Rajesh Exports, and Godfrey Phillips have witnessed volume burst in the last 75 minutes of the trade.
As the saying goes, the first, as well as the last hour of each trading session, is the most important and active in terms of price & volume.
More so, the activity in the last hour is said to be of utmost importance because most of the pro-traders and institutions are active at this time. Hence, when a stock sees a good spike in volume in the last leg of the trade along with price rise, it is considered a pro, and institutions have a keen interest in the stock. Market participants should keep a close watch on these stocks as they can witness good momentum in the short to medium-term.
So, based on this principle, we have shortlisted three stocks that have witnessed volume burst in the last leg of the trade along with price rise.
GSFC: The stock soared 6.09% on Thursday. It traded positively throughout the day and gained strong momentum towards the end. Towards the latter stages, the stock gained nearly 2% and recorded a huge volume during the process. The daily volume was found to be greater than the 30-day and 50-day average volume. Along with this, the stock closed above its 200-DMA, and thus, it is expected to be traded heavily with a positive bias in the upcoming days.
Rajesh Exports: The stock surged nearly 4% today, with most of the gains being registered in the last 75 minutes. Interestingly, over 50% of the total volume was recorded during this period. With two back-to-back bullish bars on the technical chart, the stock possesses strong momentum and is likely to trend positively in times to come.
Godfrey Phillips: The stock gained 2.59% at the end of the day. After slight retracement, the stock witnessed strong buying interest at lower levels, and it closed at day’s high. Volumes continued to build as the day progressed. Thus, the stock will be under trader’s radar for some more time.
