At close, the Sensex was up by 672.71 points or 1.14% at 59,855.93, and the Nifty was up by 179.55 points or 1.02% at 17,805.25.

Tata Communications Limited: Tata Communications and Zain KSA, a pioneering mobile telecommunications and digital services provider in Saudi Arabia have entered into a strategic engagement to provide smart city solutions to Saudi Arabia. In the flagship project, Tata Communications' IoT ecosystem will strive to provide the hardware, platform, application, and insights. Tata Communications scrip was 1.67% down at Rs 1421.20 at market close.
Larsen and Toubro Limited: L&T construction has grabbed an order from Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Limited (DMRC), for the design and construction of the Underground Metro Project of Phase-1 of Patna MRTS. The project is scheduled to be completed within 42 months. The Scrip of L&T was up by 0.76% at Rs 1937.55 at market close on Tuesday.
Jindal Steel and Power Limited: Jindal Steel, the leading steel producer, reported strong steel sales in December 2021. The steel sales stood at 6.85 lakh tons and exports contributed to 28% of the total sales volume. JSPL posted steel production of 5.904 million tons in the last nine months of this financial year, which is a 9% rise as compared to last year for the same period. Jindal Steel was up by 0.57% at Rs 387.55 at day end on the BSE.
52-week high stocks – From the BSE 200 pack, the stocks of Pidilite Industries, Astral Ltd, L&T Technology, GMR Infrastructure, and L&T Infotech have hit their 52-week high price on Tuesday. Keep a watch on these scrips in the Wednesday trading session.
