On Tuesday, the frontline equity indices, i.e., Sensex and Nifty plunged heavily amid rising global tensions.

At close, the Sensex was down by 554.05 points or 0.90% at 60,754.86 and the Nifty was down by 195.05 points or 1.07% at 18,113.05.

On the BSE, about 1145 shares have advanced, 2285 shares declined, and 83 shares are unchanged.

These stocks are likely to be in focus for Wednesday's trading session

Adani Green Energy Limited: Adani Green Energy hit Rs 3 trillion market cap on January 18 after its shares surged nearly 5% intraday to an all-time high of Rs 1915.45 per share. It is the first firm in Adani Group to achieve this milestone. The scrip was up by 4.31% at Rs 1906.80, at market close.

Dixon Technologies Limited: Electronics manufacturing firm Dixon Technologies and Imagine Marketing, the parent company of earwear brand “boat” has formed a 50:50 joint venture to manufacture Bluetooth-enabled audio devices. The proposed JV Company will undertake design and manufacturing of Wireless Audio Solutions in India & the JV partners will co-invest in the evolving Indian mobile accessory market, as mentioned in the regulatory filling. The shares of Dixon Technologies were down by 2.28% at Rs 5263.60, on the BSE.

Hero Motocorp Limited: Gogoro Inc, a global technology leader in battery swapping ecosystems that enable sustainable mobility solutions for cities, and Poema Global Holdings Corp. a publicly traded special purpose acquisition company, today announced its strategic partner, Hero MotoCorp, Engine No. 1 and another investor will be making a Private Investment in Public Entity(PIPE) investment, raising the oversubscribed PIPE from US$ 257 million to US$ 285 million. The scrip of Hero Motocorp was down by 0.34% at Rs 2692.55, at market close.

52-week high stocks – From the BSE 500 pack, the stocks of Adani Green Energy, Prestige Estate Projects, ABB India, Lakshmi Machine Works, Adani Transmission, Brigade Enterprises, Aditya Birla Financial Services, TCS, and Balrampur Chini Mills also have hit their 52-week high on Tuesday.
