On Friday, the frontline equity indices, i.e., Sensex and Nifty were volatile throughout the trading session and ended flat at the closing bell.
At close, the Sensex was down by 12.27 points or 0.02% at 61,223.0 and the Nifty was down by 2points or 0.01% at 18,255.75. On the BSE, about 2602 shares have advanced, 1345 shares declined, and 96 shares are unchanged.

Hero Motocorp Limited: Hero MotoCorp, has expanded its operations and commenced retail sales at a newly opened flagship store in the country’s capital city San Salvador. The showroom offers 3S (sales, service, spares) operations and is spread over 600 sq. mt, displaying Hero MotoCorp’s products such as the Xpulse 200, Hunk 160R, and Hunk 150 motorcycles, and Dash 125 scooter. The scrip was down by 1% at Rs 2566.70, at market close.
Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Limited: ABFRL, has created a strategic partnership with House of Masaba Lifestyle Private Limited by acquiring a 51% stake in the Lifestyle and Apparel entity.
Engaged in sales and distribution of apparel, non-apparel, beauty & personal care, and accessories, the revenue of House of Masaba, for the last 3 years from the apparel business was Rs 16 crore, Rs 20 crore, and Rs 14 crore. (Covid impacted), respectively, and the revenue for FY22 is estimated at Rs 30 crore. The shares of ABFRL were down by 0.15% at Rs 308, at market close on Friday.
Infosys Limited: One of the leading IT companies in the country, gave a stellar Q3FY22 performance, exceeding all the analysts’ expectations about the earnings and target prices. The company said its revenue from operation increased by 22,91% on a Y-o-Y basis to Rs 31,867 crore, whereas its consolidated net profit stood at Rs 5809 crore, an increase of 11.8% Y-o-Y.
Infosys also upgraded its revenue guidance to 19.5%-20.5% from 16.5%-17.5%. The stock of the IT Giant hit its 52-week high at Rs 1932.95 on Friday. The scrip was 1.72% up at Rs 1929.35 at market close, on the BSE.
52-week high stocks – From the BSE 200 pack, the stocks of Adani Green Energy, Infosys, Larsen and Toubro, Adani Enterprises, and Polycab have hit their 52-week high on Friday.
