The shares of KEC International Ltd are buzzing on the bourses today. As of 11.33 am, the shares of the company are trading higher by 4.3%. Meanwhile, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex is up by 0.56%.
Even in the pre-opening session today, the shares of KEC International Ltd were up by 5.96%. Owing to this, the shares of KEC International Ltd were one of the top gainers on BSE from Group A.
The rally in the share price has come on the back of an announcement made by the company yesterday. As per the exchange filing, the company has secured new orders of Rs 1,349 crore across its various businesses.
For its Transmission & Distribution (T&D) business, the company has secured orders in India, SAARC, the Middle East and Americas. The civil business has secured orders for building a Data Centre and for infra works in the Hydrocarbon segment in India. The company has also secured orders for various types of cables in India and overseas.
With these orders, the company’s YTD order intake has now surpassed Rs 13,000 crore, signifying a robust growth of approximately 20% vis-à-vis last year.
KEC International is a global infrastructure Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) major. It has a presence in the verticals of Power Transmission and Distribution, Railways, Civil, Urban Infrastructure, Solar, Smart Infrastructure, Oil & Gas Pipelines, and Cables. The company is currently executing infrastructure projects in over 30 countries and has a footprint in more than 110 countries (including EPC, Supply of Towers and Cables). It is the flagship Company of the RPG Group.
Today, the scrip of KEC International Ltd opened at Rs 496 and has touched a high and low of Rs 501 and Rs 486, respectively. So far 7,27,465 shares have been traded on the bourses. The stock has a 52-week high & low of Rs 549.20 and Rs 345.15, respectively on BSE.
