Stocks to watch: These small-cap stocks will be in focus Tuesday!

On Monday, the Sensex fell by 175 points to close at 59,288.35, while the Nifty 50 dropped by 73 points to close at 17,392.70. Among the BSE Smallcap gainers were Olectra Greentech, Rhi Magnesita India, Radhe Developers and Chemplast Sanmar.

Infosys, UPL, Bajaj Auto, Adani Enterprises and Tata Steel were among the Nifty's biggest losers, while Divi's Laboratories, HDFC Life Insurance, SBI Bank, Kotak Mahindra bank, ICICI Bank, and Power Grid Corporation of India were among the Nifty's biggest winners.

The Dow Jones futures were up 144 points, indicating a positive opening in the US stock market today. European shares advanced while Asian shares fell across the board on Monday, after major indexes on Wall Street recorded their worst week for 2023. The US stocks declined on Friday, following a bigger-than-expected increase in the latest reading for personal consumption expenditures, the Federal Reserve's preferred inflation gauge.

The following small-cap stocks are likely to be in focus on Tuesday, February 28, 2023:

Ok Play India: The company announced to the exchange that it has purchased a 100% stake in Isht Technologies. The target company is owned by OK Play India's promoters, and the transaction is done on an arm's length basis. The shares of Ok play India were locked in the upper circuit after gaining 5% for Rs 85.45 per share.

Easy Trip Planners: The company announced a five-year advertising agreement with Capri Global Holdings for the Women's Premier League.

Granules India: The company announced today that the US Food and Drug Administration (US FDA) approved its Abbreviated New Drug Application (ANDA) for Losartan Potassium Tablets USP, 25 mg, 50 mg, and 100 mg.

52-week high: Innovana, Binani Industries, Raj Rayon Industries, Blue Chip and Goyal Aluminium.
