The Indian benchmark indices were trading flat with BSE Telecommunication Index being the top gaining sector and BSE Realty being the top loser.

On Friday, the benchmark indices were trading flat with Sensex down around 62 points or 0.11% at 59,570.93 and the Nifty trading up by 26 points or 0.14% at 17,600.

About 1,310 shares have advanced, 1,744 have declined and 139 were unchanged on BSE.

Top Gainer & Losers on BSE:

Kotak Mahindra Bank, HCL Technologies and Wipro were the top Sensex gainers today, while Tech Mahindra, Tata Steel and Tata Motors were the top Sensex loser.

The indices traded in a lower manner in the broader markets, with the BSE Mid-cap index down by 0.48% and the BSE Small-cap index down by 0.55%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers are Vodafone Idea and Delhivery, while the top small-cap gainers were Optiemus Infracom and Nazara Technologies Ltd.

 The indices were trading mixed on the sectoral front, with the BSE Telecommunication Index leading the gainers and BSE Realty Index leading the losers. The BSE Telecommunication Index soared by 0.80%, led by Vodafone Idea and Indus Tower, whereas BSE Realty Index plunged by 0.70% dragged down by Macrotech Developers and Godrej Properties.
