The Indian benchmark indices were trading higher with BSE Healthcare Index being the top gaining sectoral indices.

On Wednesday, the benchmark indices were trading higher with Sensex up around 60 points or 0.10% at 60,210 and the Nifty trading up by 30 points or 0.16% at 17,751.80.

Top Gainer & Losers on BSE: 

Tata Motors, Infosys and HDFC Bank were the top Sensex gainers today, while Power Grid, Bharti Airtel and IndusInd Bank were the top Sensex loser. 

The indices traded in a higher manner in the broader markets, with the BSE Mid-cap index surging by 0.37% and the BSE Small-cap index surging by 0.53%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers are Biocon and Laurus Labs, while the top small-cap gainers were Technocraft Industries and Vinyl Chemicals.

The indices were trading mixed on the sectoral front, with the BSE Healthcare Index leading the gainers and BSE FMCG Index leading the losers. The BSE Healthcare Index soared by 1.12% each, led by SPARC and Divis Laboratories and whereas BSE FMCG Index plunged 0.45% dragged down by Jyothy Labs and Agro Tech Foods.
