The Indian benchmark indices were trading flat with BSE Realty Index shining among all the sectoral indices, up by 2.85%.

On Monday, the benchmark indices were trading flat with Sensex up around 51 points or 0.08% at 59,883.72, and the Nifty trading down by 22 points or 0.12% at 17,628.50.

Top Gainer & Losers on BSE:

Tata Motors, L&T Ltd and Power Grid were the top Sensex gainers today, while Maruti Suzuki, Bajaj Finance and Asian Paints were the top Sensex loser.

The indices traded higher in the broader markets, with the BSE Mid-cap index surging by 0.27% and the BSE Small-cap index surging by 0.14%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers are Godrej Properties and Max Health Life Insurance, while the top small-cap gainers were EKC and Aarti Surfactants.

The indices were trading mixed on the sectoral front, with the BSE Realty Index leading the gainers and BSE Bankex Index leading the losers. The BSE Realty Index soared by 2.85%, led by Godrej Properties and Kolte Patil Developers while the BSE Bankex Index plunged by 0.39%, dragged down by Au Small Finance Bank and IndusInd Bank.
