Domestic benchmark indices were trading higher with the BSE Mid-cap index up 0.58% and the BSE Small-cap index up 0.45%  

On Tuesday, the benchmark indices were trading higher with Sensex up around 250 points or 0.79% at 62,015 and the Nifty trading up by 70 points or 0.38% at 18,330. About 2,025 shares have advanced, 1,330 declined, and 146 are unchanged on the BSE. 

Top gainers and losers On BSE Sensex Index are as follows: 
The top Sensex gainers were Bajaj FinServ, IndusInd Bank and Asian Paints whereas the top Sensex losers were ITC Ltd, State Bank of India and Sun Pharmaceuticals.
  

The BSE Telecommunication Index was the top gaining among the sectorial indices and BSE Utilities Index was the top losing sector. The BSE Telecommunication Index soared 1.40%, led by ITI Ltd and Tata Teleservices Maharashtra Ltd while the BSE Utilities Index was down 0.50% dragged down by NHPC and Adani Transmission.

The indices in the broader markets were trading higher, with the BSE Mid-cap index up 0.58% and the BSE Small-cap index up 0.45%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers were Macrotech Developers and Indraprastha Gas while the top small-cap gainers were Jindal Poly Films and Ganesh Housing Corporation Ltd.
