Domestic benchmark indices were trading lower with BSE Telecommunication Index trending among all sectoral indices.

On Monday the benchmark indices were trading lower with Sensex down around 94 points or 0.17% at 58,899, and the Nifty trading down by 22 points or 0.12% at 17,340. About 2,511 shares have advanced, 870 declined, and 133 are unchanged on the BSE.

Top gainers and losers On BSE Sensex Index are as follows: 
The top Sensex gainers were Maruti Suzuki, Bharti Airtel and NTPC whereas the top Sensex losers were ITC, Infosys and Hindustan Unilever.

The BSE Metals Index was the top gaining among the sectorial indices and BSE Services Index was the top losing sector. The BSE Metals Index soared 0.43%, led by Coal India and Steel Authority of India while the BSE Services Index was down 3.51% dragged down by VRL Logistics and Adani Ports.

The indices in the broader markets were trading higher, with the BSE Mid-cap index up 0.30% and the BSE Small cap index up 1.10%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers were GMR Airport Infra and Vodafone Idea while the top small-cap gainers were TTK Health and Andhra Petrochemicals.
