Domestic benchmark indices were trading higher with the BSE Mid-cap index up 0.65% and the BSE Small cap index up 0.69%.

On Friday, the benchmark indices were trading higher with Sensex up around 70 points or 0.12% at 60,720 and the Nifty trading up by 29 points or 0.16% at 17,915. About 2,113 shares have advanced, 1,131 declined, and 144 are unchanged on the BSE.

Top gainers and losers On BSE Sensex Index are as follows: 
The top Sensex gainers were Wipro, Larsen & Toubro and Reliance Industries whereas the top Sensex losers were Hindustan Unilever, Bajaj Finserv and Axis Bank.
 

The BSE Telecommunication Index was the top gaining among the sectorial indices and BSE Bankex Index was the top losing sector. The BSE Telecommunication Index soared 2.20%, led by Indus Tower and Tejas Network while the BSE Bankex Index was down 0.60% dragged down by Axis Bank and ICICI Bank.
