Domestic benchmark indices were trading higher with BSE Mid-cap index up 0.16% and the BSE Small cap index up 0.55%

On Wednesday, the benchmark indices were trading higher with Sensex up around 120 points or 0.21% at 60,175 and the Nifty trading up by 40 points or 0.22% at 17,783. About 1,982 shares have advanced, 1,345 declined, and 127 are unchanged on the BSE.

Top gainers and losers On BSE Sensex Index are as follows: 
The top Sensex gainers were Power Grid Corporation of India, Larsen & Toubro and IndusInd Bank whereas the top Sensex losers were Bajaj Finance, Bajaj Finserv and Kotak Mahindra Bank.

The BSE Realty Index was the top gaining among the sectorial indices and BSE Metals Index was the top losing sector. The BSE Realty Index soared 1.10%, led by Prestige Estate Projects and Indiabulls Real Estate while the BSE Metals Index was down 0.80% dragged down by Hindalco Steel and Jindal Steel.
