Domestic benchmark indices were trading lower with BSE IT Index trending among all sectoral indices.

On Friday, the benchmark indices were trading lower with Sensex down around 124 points or 0.21% at 57,801.97, and the Nifty trading down by 53 points or 0.31% at 17,024.45. About 1,173 shares have advanced, 1,955 declined, and 130 are unchanged on the BSE.

Top gainers and losers On BSE Sensex Index are as follows: 
The top Sensex gainers were Infosys, TCS and Power Grid Corporation of India whereas the top Sensex losers were Bajaj Finance, Bajaj FinServ and Tata Steel.
 

The BSE IT Index was the top gaining among the sectorial indices and BSE Metals Index was the top losing sector. The BSE IT Index soared 0.79%, led by KPIT Technologies and Cyient Ltd while the BSE Metals Index was down 1.5% dragged down by Jindal Steel and Tata Steel.

The indices in the broader markets were trading down, with the BSE Midcap index down 0.62% and the BSE Smallcap index down 0.62%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers were Hindustan Aeronautics and Aurobindo Pharmaceuticals and while the top small-cap gainers were Aarti Drugs and ITI Ltd.
