Domestic benchmark indices were trading higher with BSE Utilities Index trending among all sectoral indices.

On Wednesday, the benchmark indices were trading higher with Sensex up around 100 points or 0.17% at 58,173.65, and the Nifty trading up by 38 points or 0.21% at 17,143.15. About 2,078 shares have advanced, 1,048 declined, and 132 are unchanged on the BSE.

Top gainers and losers On BSE Sensex Index are as follows: 
The top Sensex gainers were Bajaj Finance, Bajaj Finsev and IndusInd Bank whereas the top Sensex losers were NTPC, Titan and Axis Bank.

The BSE Utilities Index was the top gaining among the sectorial indices and BSE FMCG Index was the top losing sector. The BSE Utilities Index soared 0.70%, led by Adani Green Energy and Adani Power while the BSE Consumer Durables Index was down 0.07% dragged down by Titan India and Rajesh Exports.

The indices in the broader markets were trading higher, with the BSE Midcap index up 0.38% and the BSE Smallcap index up 0.68%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers were Vodafone Idea and Emami Ltd while the top small-cap gainers were Choice International and SBCL Ltd.
