Domestic benchmark indices were trading flat with BSE Mid-cap index down 0.39% and the BSE Small cap index down 0.20%

On Friday, the benchmark indices were trading flat with Sensex down around 52 points or 0.10% at 59,581 and the Nifty trading down by 24 points or 0.14% at 17,600. About 1,337 shares have advanced, 1,786 declined, and 135 are unchanged on the BSE.

Top gainers and losers On BSE Sensex Index are as follows: 
The top Sensex gainers were ITC, Kotak Mahindra Bank and Asian Paints whereas the top Sensex losers were Tata Steel, Tata Motors and Tech Mahindra.

The BSE Telecommunication Index was the top gaining among the sectorial indices and BSE Realty Index was the top losing sector. The BSE Telecommunication Index soared 0.90%, led by Vodafone Idea and Indus Tower while the BSE Realty Index was down 2% dragged down by Macrotech Developers and Phoenix Mills Ltd.
