Domestic benchmark indices were trading flat with BSE Mid-cap index up 0.18% and the BSE Small cap index rising 0.47%.

On Wednesday, the benchmark indices were trading flat with Sensex down around 23 points or 0.04% at 59,705 and the Nifty trading down by 2 points or 0.01% at 17,659. About 1,953 shares have advanced, 1,434 declined, and 116 are unchanged on the BSE.

Top gainers and losers On BSE Sensex Index are as follows: 
The top Sensex gainers were Tata Steel, Housing Development Finance Corporation and Reliance Industries whereas the top Sensex losers were IndusInd Bank, HCL Technologies and Infosys

The BSE Metals Index was the top gaining among the sectorial indices and BSE Teck Index was the top losing sector. The BSE Realty Index soared 1.20%, led by Jindal Steel and Steel Authority of India while the BSE Teck Index was down 0.85% dragged down by LTI Mindtree and Coforge Ltd.

On April 19, the below-listed low-price stocks were locked in the upper circuit. Keep a watch on them for further movements.
