Domestic benchmark indices were trading lower with the BSE Mid-cap index up 0.46% and the BSE Small-cap index up 0.32%.

On Tuesday, the benchmark indices were trading lower with Sensex down around 111 points or 0.19% at 59,801 and the Nifty trading down by 38 points or 0.18% at 17,670. About 1,951 shares have advanced

1,370 declined, and 131 are unchanged on the BSE.

Top gainers and losers On BSE Sensex Index are as follows:

The top Sensex gainers were Nestle India, HCL Technologies and IndusInd Bank, whereas the top Sensex losers were Tech Mahindra, Power Grip Corporation of India and Reliance Industries.  

The BSE Realty Index was the top gaining among the sectorial indices and BSE Consumer Durables Index was the top losing sector. The BSE Realty Index soared 1.60%, led by Shobha Ltd and India Bulls Real Estate, while the BSE Consumer Durables Index was down 0.85% dragged down by Titan India and Blue Star Company.

The indices in the broader markets were trading higher, with the BSE Mid-cap index up 0.46% and the BSE Small cap index up 0.32%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers were Bajaj Holdings & Investments and Lupin India while the top small-cap gainers were Deep Polymers and Binny Ltd.
