Domestic benchmark indices were trading flat with the BSE Mid-cap index down 0.05% and the BSE Small-cap index up 0.10%

On Friday, the benchmark indices were trading flat with Sensex down around 48 points or 0.10% at 61,856 and the Nifty trading down by 20 points or 0.10% at 18,280. About 1,723 shares have advanced, 1,605 declined, and 132 are unchanged on the BSE.

Top gainers and losers On BSE Sensex Index are as follows: 
The top Sensex gainers were Hindustan Unilever, Mahindra & Mahindra and HCL Technologies whereas the top Sensex losers were Tata Steel, NTPC and Power Grid Corporation of India. 

The BSE Auto Index was the top gaining among the sectorial indices and BSE Utilities Index was the top losing sector. The BSE Power Index soared 1.06%, led by Eicher Motors and Bajaj Auto while the BSE Utilities Index was down 1.60% dragged down by Power Grid Corporation of India and Adani Transmission.

On May 12, the below-listed low-price stocks were locked in the upper circuit. Keep a watch on them for further movements.
