Domestic benchmark indices were trading higher with BSE Bankex Index trending among all sectoral indices.

On Wednesday, the benchmark indices were trading higher with Sensex up around 96 points or 0.16% at 60,253.49, and the Nifty trading up by 44 points or 0.24% at 17,766. About 2,061 shares have advanced, 1,253 declined, and 113 are unchanged on the BSE.

Top gainers and losers On BSE Sensex Index are as follows: 
The top Sensex gainers were Asian Paints, Tata Motors and Tech Mahindra whereas the top Sensex losers were NTPC, Nestle and Power Grid.
 

The BSE Healthcare Index was the top gaining among the sectorial indices and BSE FMCG Index was the top losing sector. The BSE Healthcare Index soared 1.20%, led by Davis Labs and Suven Life Sciences while the BSE FMCG Index was down 0.50% dragged down by Pratap Snacks and Agro Tech Foods.

The top mid-cap gainers were Laurus Labs and Nippo Life India while the top small-cap gainers were Sree Rayalaseema Hi-Strength Hypo and Technocraft Industries India.
