Domestic benchmark indices were trading higher with BSE Bankex Index trending among all sectoral indices.

On Tuesday, the benchmark indices were trading higher with Sensex up around 178 points or 0.30% at 60,025.49, and the Nifty trading up by 62 points or 0.35% at 17,686. About 2,067 shares have advanced, 1,281 declined, and 112 are unchanged on the BSE.

Top gainers and losers On BSE Sensex Index are as follows: 
The top Sensex gainers were Tata Motors, Power Grid and L&T whereas the top Sensex losers were Tata Motors, Infosys and TCS.

The BSE Bankex Index was the top gaining among the sectorial indices and BSE Teck Index was the top losing sector. The BSE Bankex Index soared 1.39%, led by Kotak Mahindra Bank and Bank of Baroda while the BSE Teck Index was down 1.17% dragged down by Indus Tower and SAREGAMA.

The indices in the broader markets were trading higher, with the BSE Mid-cap index up 0.07% and the BSE Small-cap index up 0.43%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers were Max Healthcare Life Insurance and Union Bank while the top small-cap gainers were Shilpa Medicare and Radhe Developers.
