Penny Stocks Locked in the Upper Circuit on September 9, 2022

Domestic markets are trading higher, with the Sensex and Nifty 50 surpassing crucial 60,000 and 17,900 levels, respectively. 

The major US indices rose as a result of gains in financial institutions and healthcare sectors. Investors anticipated a significant increase in interest rates this month after the European Central Bank raised rates by an extraordinary 75 basis points, which was their largest-ever increase.

Following is the list of penny stocks locked in the upper circuit on September  9. Keep a close eye on these counters for the upcoming sessions.

Every major Asian market was trading in positive territory. SGX Nifty indicated a positive opening for the broader index in India. With gains in the basic materials, banking, and metals sectors, Indian domestic markets started the day higher. The only sector trading downwards was BSE Telecom, which was dragged down by shares of GTL Infrastructure, which fell by more than 4%. 

At 10:35 am, the BSE Sensex gained 0.58%, reaching a level of 60,034. The Nifty 50 index climbed 0.63% to 17,910 level. The biggest gainers on the Sensex were IndusInd Bank, Hindustan Unilever and State Bank of India whereas Bajaj Finserv, Tech Mahindra and Bharti Airtel were the top losers. 

In the broader markets, the BSE Midcap index advanced 0.67% and was trading at a level of 26,067 while the Smallcap index surged 0.69% and was trading at a level of 29,678.
