List of Top 10 Penny Stocks: These Shares Gained Up To 10% on Tuesday, January 25

Today, the Indian market closed up with a green mark. BSE PSU is the top gainer whereas, BSE Information Technology was the top loser.

After the Indian equity market closed deep down in red on Monday, today, the equity market closed up on a positive note. Besides, all sectoral indices closed on a positive note except two sectoral indices.

In today’s trade Nifty 50 and BSE Sensex indices closed up by 128.85 points i.e., 0.75% and 366.64 points i.e., 0.64%, respectively. Stocks that supported BSE Sensex and Nifty 50 to pull the index up were Axis Bank Ltd, State Bank of India Ltd and Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. Whereas, stocks that dragged BSE Sensex and Nifty 50 down were Infosys Ltd, Bajaj Finserv Ltd and Titan Company Ltd. Nifty 50 and BSE Sensex opened down by 0.86% and 0.57%, respectively from the previous close.    

On a sectoral basis, S&P BSE PSU, S&P BSE Telecom, S&P BSE Utilities, S&P BSE Power and S&P BSE Auto were top gainers. BSE PSU index consisting of stocks such as Bank of Baroda Ltd, Canara Bank Ltd, National Aluminium Company Ltd, Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd and MMTC Ltd led the pack.

In Tuesday's trading session only two sectoral indices closed on a negative note viz. S&P BSE Information Technology and S&P BSE Consumer Durables. The Information Technology index consisting of stocks such as IndiaMART InterMESH Ltd, 63 Moons Technologies Ltd, Nazara Technologies Ltd, Kellton Tech Solutions Ltd and NIIT Ltd were the top drags.
