BOI AXA Mutual Fund
BOI AXA Mutual Fund is one of the world’s largest players in the mutual fund industry. It is a joint venture between Bank of India and AXA Investment Managers, two giants in their sectors. BOI AXA Investment Managers Private Limited is the investment manager of the mutual fund. It was incorporated on 13th August 2007.
The BOI AXA Investment Managers were previously known as Bharti AXA Investment Managers Private Limited (BAIM). On 7th May 2012, Bank of India acquired 51% in BAIM and became a co-sponsor along with AXA Investment Managers. Accordingly, BAIM was renamed BOI AXA Investment Managers Private Limited, and the fund was renamed BOI AXA Mutual Fund.
BOI AXA Mutual Fund offers a range of diverse products to suit investors with all kinds of risk appetites and investment horizons. In 2021, the fund operated fourteen open-ended schemes and two close-ended schemes. It also launched a new scheme, BOI AXA Flexi Cap Fund, in June 2020. The scheme has shown consistent growth, attracting more investors and assets by the day.
BOI AXA Mutual Fund has shown rapid growth over the past few years. As of 31st March 2021, its Asset Under Management (AUM) is over Rs. 2105 crores and the live investor folios over 1.20 lakhs.
