According to the Annual Report of PGIM Mutual Fund, the Indian mutual fund industry’s average AUM grew by 30% to exceed the INR 32 trillion mark in FY21. And, PGIM has been a frontrunner in the growth, registering a stellar growth of 94% in the average AUM over its performance in FY20. Its AUM currently stands at INR 6,988 crores (as of 31st March 2021). Due to an increased inflow in equity and Fund of Funds, these categories contribute over 60% in PGIM India MF’s asset mix. In FY21, the fund house experienced a robust 196% spurt in customers, a 306% increase in distribution partners, and a 738% enhancement in new SIP (Systematic Investment Plan) registrations. In FY 21, PGIM MF’s overall assets, including PMS assets and advisory) grew by 67% to INR 9,414 crores.
One of the newest schemes launched by PGIM India MF is the PGIM India Balanced Advantage Fund. The scheme was launched on 4th February 2021. During the NFO (New Fund Offer) period, the fund collected nearly INR 369 crores from more than 12,000 customers.
