Shares of Adani Wilmar were the top gainers on the bourses this week. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in its share price could be driven purely by market forces. In today’s session, the company’s shares opened at Rs 827.6, and touched a high & low of Rs 841.9 & Rs 816.10, respectively.

Patanjali Foods Ltd

The shares of Patanjali Foods gained over 10% in the last 5 trading sessions. This surge came ahead of the company’s ex-dividend date, which is today, 23 September 2022. The company declared a dividend of Rs 5 per equity share, representing 250% of the face value of Rs 2 per equity share.

This week, the company held its annual global investor conference. As per the exchange filing, the company put forth its vision for the various segments. The promoters also plan to list four other companies of the Patanjali Group - Patanjali Ayurveda, Patanjali Medicines, Patanjali Lifestyle and Patanjali Wellness - in the coming years. The Patanjali group currently has a combined turnover of Rs 40,000 crore with the target of reaching Rs 1 lakh crore in the next five years.
