Gland Pharma, Aster DM Healthcare, and Lemon Tree Hotels have witnessed a volume burst in the last 75 minutes of the trade.

As the saying goes, the first, as well as the last hour of each trading session, is the most important and active in terms of price & volume.

More so, the activity in the last hour is said to be of utmost importance because most of the pro-traders and institutions are active at this time. Hence, when a stock sees a good spike in volume in the last leg of the trade along with price rise, it is considered a pro, and institutions have a keen interest in the stock. Market participants should keep a close watch on these stocks as they can witness good momentum in the short to medium-term.

So, based on this principle, we have shortlisted three stocks that have witnessed volume burst in the last leg of the trade along with price rise.

Gland Pharma: After a strong downtrend, the stock has finally witnessed strong buying emerging at lower levels. It has risen over 5% backed by massive volumes during Wednesday’s trading session. With such strong trading activity, it is expected to be on traders’ watchlist.

Aster DM Healthcare:  The scrip closed above its crucial resistance level and hit a fresh all-time high level on Wednesday. It surged 6.37% and recorded above average volumes. The volume was found to be greater than 10-day and 30-day average volume.  Most of the gains came in the last 75 minutes when the stock witnessed strong buying activity. About 70% of the total days volume was recorded during this period. It is likely to trade with positive bias in times to come.

Lemon Tree Hotels: The stock jumped 4.17% during the day. The volumes increased as the session progressed and was found to be greater than the 10-day average volumes. Buying interest prevailed in the latter stage of the session when the stock shot up over 2%. The positivity is expected to continue for some more days.
