Hitachi Energy India, TTML and Quess Corp have witnessed volume burst in the last 75 minutes of the trade.

As the saying goes, the first, as well as the last hour of each trading session, is the most important and active in terms of price & volume.

More so, the activity in the last hour is said to be of utmost importance because most of the pro-traders and institutions are active at this time. Hence, when a stock sees a good spike in volume in the last leg of the trade along with price rise, it is considered a pro, and institutions have a keen interest in the stock. Market participants should keep a close watch on these stocks as they can witness good momentum in the short to medium-term.

So, based on this principle, we have shortlisted three stocks that have witnessed volume burst in the last leg of the trade along with price rise.

Hitachi Energy India (POWERINDIA): The stock zoomed massively in the last hour and shot up over 4% during this period. Over 60% of the total day’s volume was recorded during this period which indicates strong institutional activity in the stock. Moreover, the stock jumped above its 20-DMA and 50-DMA levels. It has formed a strong bullish candle after many days and is likely to see a strong trend from here on.

TTML:  The scrip soared 4.53% on Thursday. It traded positively throughout the day and gained about 2% in the last 75 minutes. The daily volume was good and strong buying has emerged at lower levels. It has formed a bullish engulfing pattern on the chart and looks to gain momentum in near future.

Quess Corp: Initially, the stock traded lower but strong buying at lower levels led to a magnificent rally. It rose nearly 3% in the last 75 minutes, backed by huge volume. The daily volume was also greater than 10-day and 30-day average volume. It has closed above its short-term resistance level, and with such bullishness, it is expected to be in traders’ radar for coming days.
