Info Edge (NAUKRI), HEG, and CreditAccess Grameen, have witnessed volume burst in the last 75 minutes of the trade.

As the saying goes, the first, as well as the last hour of each trading session, is the most important and active in terms of price & volume.

More so, the activity in the last hour is said to be of utmost importance because most of the pro-traders and institutions are active at this time. Hence, when a stock sees a good spike in volume in the last leg of the trade along with price rise, it is considered a pro, and institutions have a keen interest in the stock. Market participants should keep a close watch on these stocks as they can witness good momentum in the short to medium-term.

So, based on this principle, we have shortlisted three stocks that have witnessed volume burst in the last leg of the trade along with price rise.

Info Edge Ltd. (NAUKRI): The scrip soared 6% on a positive market day. It traded positively throughout the day and buying momentum emerged aggressively towards the end.  IT surged above the prior swing high as a result and recorded above average volumes. For the third consecutive day, the volumes rose which is a positive sign. With such high-volume trading, we can expect some fireworks from this stock in times to come.

HEG: The stock jumped over 8% on Friday. It received strong buying interest throughout the day and surged above its prior swing high. Towards the end, it gained about 2.50% and recorded huge volumes. The volume was found to be greater than 10-day, 30-daya and 50-day average volume. With the stock trading heavily towards the end, it is expected to be volatile with a positive bias for upcoming days.

CreditAccess Grameen Ltd: The stock closed higher by 7.27% on Friday. It traded with positivity till the end and volumes continued to build. It surged above its 20-DMA and attracted strong buying interest from traders. In the last 75 minutes, the stock surged nearly 2% and recorded good volumes. It closed nearly at day’s high and is likely to be heavily traded with a positive bias in upcoming days.
