Gujarat Ambuja Exports Limited, Ashoka Buildcon, and Hariom Pipes Industries have witnessed volume burst in the last 75 minutes of the trade.

As the saying goes, the first, as well as the last hour of each trading session, is the most important and active in terms of price & volume.

More so, the activity in the last hour is said to be of utmost importance because most of the pro-traders and institutions are active at this time. Hence, when a stock sees a good spike in volume in the last leg of the trade along with price rise, it is considered a pro, and institutions have a keen interest in the stock. Market participants should keep a close watch on these stocks as they can witness good momentum in the short to medium-term.

So, based on this principle, we have shortlisted three stocks that have witnessed volume burst in the last leg of the trade along with price rise.

Gujarat Ambuja Exports Limited: The stock surged about 8.95% on Wednesday. It traded higher throughout the day and witnessed strong buying interest towards the end as it soared nearly 3% in the last 75 minutes. After a strong correction from its prior swing high levels, the stock has observed fresh buying at lower levels. Moreover, the stock closed at day’s high, and is likely to remain positive in upcoming trading session.

Ashoka Buildcon: The stock jumped nearly 5% today amid volatility. In the latter half of the session, it rose over 4% backed by huge volumes. About 60% of the total day’s volume was recorded during this period. With such positivity, the stock is likely to be on the traders' watchlist.

Hariom Pipes: The stock soared 7.39% despite weak market. It traded positivity throughout the day with above average volume. Interestingly, the volume was found to be greater than 30-day and 50-day average volume. It hit a fresh all-time high level and closed on a higher note. Thus, we can expect the stock to continue rallying in times to come with heavy volumes.
