Cera Sanitaryware Ltd, Amara Raja Batteries, and Spandana Sphoorty Financial have witnessed volume burst in the last 75 minutes of the trade.

As the saying goes, the first and the last hour of each trading session is the most important and active in terms of price and volume. More so, the activity in the last hour is said to be of utmost importance because most of the pro traders and institutions are active at this time. Hence, when a stock sees a good spike in volume in the last leg of trade along with price rise it is said to be the pro and institutions have a keen interest in the stock. Market participants should keep a close watch on these stocks as they can witness good momentum in the short-medium term.

So, based on this principle we have shortlisted three stocks, which have witnessed volume burst in the last leg of trade along with price rise.

Cera Sanitaryware Ltd: The stock jumped 7.31% on Monday, out of which nearly 4% of the gains came in the last 75 minutes. The volume recorded was above average today, and greater than the 10-day and 30-day average volume. Volumes rose towards the end as buying intensified. The stock closed at a day’s high, and we expect it to be traded heavily with a positive bias.

Amara Raja Batteries: The scrip soared over 5.77% on Monday. It traded positively throughout the day and witnessed strong buying interest in the last hour. The volume rose multifold, which is likely an indication of institutional activity. It closed above its prior swing high and is likely to be in an uptrend soon.

Spandana Sphoorty Financial: The stock zoomed 7.48% at the end of the day. Interestingly, the stock is in a strong uptrend, having jumped nearly 50% in just three weeks. The volume recorded today has been the greater in many days, as it attracted more buyers. The volume continued to build in the last hour. The stock closed at a day’s high, and we can expect strong buying in short term.
