The benchmark indices continued gains for the third straight session owing to the bouncing back of global markets.
Sensex jumped 787 points, or 1.3% settling at the 60,747 level while Nifty50 closed at the 18,011 level, gaining 225 points or 1.26%. In the broader market, the BSE Midcap, and SmallCap indices zoomed 1.24%, and 0.45%, respectively. On the sectoral front, all the indices ended in green.
The IPO of DCX Systems, an electronic sub-systems and cable harnesses manufacturer, has received bids for 1.54 crore shares against an IPO size of 1.45 crore shares subscribing 1.07 times on the first day of bidding.

Bharti Airtel – The company announced quarterly results for Q2FY23. The quarterly revenues made up of Rs 34,527 crore, 21.9% up on a YoY basis, backed by strong and consistent performance delivery across the portfolio and crossing 500 million customers globally. Consolidated Net income (after Exceptional items) was reported at Rs 2,145 crore; up by 89.1% on a YoY basis. The shares of Bharti Airtel ended the trading session 1.85% higher on Monday.
Maruti Suzuki - Maruti Suzuki has advanced with the expansion of the S-CNG^ technology in NEXA. Two blockbuster premium products of NEXA, the New Age Baleno and the All-New XL6 will now feature the S-CNG system providing the aspirational customer with feature-rich and class-leading products with minimal impact on the environment. The shares of Maruti Suzuki traded in green throughout Monday’s trading session but ended marginally higher being 0.45% up.
Titan – Shares of Titan Company zoomed beyond 2% to touch a record high of Rs 2,790 per share on an intra-day basis predicting strong Q2FY23 earnings. The board of directors of Titan will be meeting on Friday, November 4, 2022, to consider and approve the unaudited financial results for the quarter and half year that ended September 30, 2022.
