1. Kotak Mahindra Bank

Private sector lender Kotak Mahindra Bank announced the resignation of its Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Chief Technology Officer (CTO), Milind Nagnur. He is stepping down for personal reasons, with his resignation effective from February 15, 2025. Mr. Nagnur has played a key role in shaping the bank's technology and operational strategies.


2. Bajaj Finance

Bajaj Finance reported a robust 28% year-on-year growth in assets under management (AUM), which reached ₹3.98 lakh crore as of December 31, 2024. During the third quarter of FY25, the non-banking financial company added ₹24,100 crore to its AUM. Its deposits book also grew significantly, rising 19% year-on-year to ₹68,800 crore.


3. NTPC Green Energy

NTPC Renewable Energy Ltd., a subsidiary of NTPC Green Energy, secured a 1000 MW solar capacity project at a tariff of ₹2.56 per kWh in a tender by UPPCL. This project is part of a larger 2000 MW ISTS-connected solar PV initiative under a tariff-based competitive bidding framework, furthering its renewable energy ambitions.


4. HDFC Bank

HDFC Bank, India’s largest private lender, recorded a modest 3% year-on-year growth in loan advances for the December quarter, reaching ₹25.42 lakh crore. Total advances stood at ₹24.69 lakh crore at the close of December 31, 2023. The bank shared these figures in its latest regulatory filing.


5. Ujjivan Small Finance Bank

Ujjivan Small Finance Bank posted a 16% year-on-year increase in total deposits, which stood at ₹34,496 crore. The CASA deposits saw a 15% growth, rising to ₹8,657 crore. Despite a minor drop in disbursements, the bank’s loan book continued to demonstrate steady growth, reflecting a stable performance.
