Kansai Nerolac Paints Hit 52-Week High with Land Monetization Deal
Kansai Nerolac Paints witnessed a remarkable surge of over 9% in its share price, hitting a 52-week high during early trade on Wednesday. The boost follows the approval of a decision by the company's board to monetize idle land parcels. Kansai Nerolac disclosed that it has agreed with Aethon Developers Pvt Ltd, a subsidiary of Runwal Developers Pvt Ltd, for the sale of a land parcel at Lower Parel, along with the building on it. The deal, valued at ₹726 crore, aims to optimize the use of previously unproductive assets.

In the second quarter of FY24, Kansai Nerolac Paints reported a robust net profit of ₹175.48 crore, marking an impressive growth of 57.79% compared to the same period in the previous fiscal year. The company's revenue from operations in Q2FY24 also saw a positive uptick, increasing by 1.32% to ₹1,956.54 crore.
