Polyplex Corporation Ltd, an S&P BSE 500 company, has delivered multibagger returns to its shareholders in the last two years. During this period, the company’s share price jumped from Rs 715.6 on 12 January 2021 to Rs 1549.80 on 10 January 2023, an increase of 116% in the two-year holding period.

Polyplex Corporation Limited (Polyplex) has the fifth-largest capacity of polyester (PET) film globally. Its polyester capabilities include both thin and thick PET film in a wide range of thickness and surface properties covering a spectrum of applications. 

Its diversified business portfolio also includes BOPP, Blown PP/PE and CPP films produced in state-of-the-art plants with economic size. Integrated downstream capabilities of Metallizing, Holography, Silicone Coating, Offline Chemical Coating, Extrusion Coating and Transfer Metallized Paper deliver further value-added products.

In the recent quarter Q2FY23, on a consolidated basis, the company’s net revenue increased by 35% YoY to Rs 2089.29 crore. Similarly, the bottom line increased by 18% YoY to Rs 200.16 crore.

The company is currently trading at a TTM PE of 7.33x against the industry PE of 22.92x. In FY22, the company delivered an ROE & ROCE of 30.3% and 29%, respectively. The company is a constituent of Group A stocks and commands a market capitalization of Rs 4,899.42 crore.

Today, the scrip opened at Rs 1559.95 and has touched a high and low of Rs 1561.60 and Rs 1549, respectively. So far 1,141 shares have been traded on the bourses.

At 12.29 pm, the shares of Polyplex Corporation Ltd were trading at Rs 1,553.30, an increase of 0.23% from the previous day’s closing price of Rs 1549.80 on BSE. The stock has a 52-week high & low of Rs 2870 and Rs 1463.30, respectively on BSE.
