The Indian benchmark indices were trading higher with BSE Utilities Index shining among all the sectoral indices, up by 2.47%.

On Monday, the benchmark indices were trading higher with Sensex up around 653 points or 1.10% at 60,461.02, and the Nifty trading up by 193 points or 1.09% at 17,786.55.

Top Gainer & Losers on BSE:

Bajaj FinServ, Infosys and Power Grid Corporation were the top Sensex gainers today, while Nestle India and UltraTech Cements were the top Sensex loser.

The indices traded in a higher manner in the broader markets, with the BSE Mid-cap index surging by 1.02% and the BSE Small-cap index soaring by 1.15%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers were JSW Energy and Adani Power, while the top small-cap gainers were 5 Paisa and Asian Energy.
