The Indian benchmark indices were trading higher and all the sectoral indices were trading in green with BSE IT Index being the top gaining sector today.

On Thursday, the benchmark indices were trading higher with Sensex up around 375 points or 0.61% at 61,649.20, and the Nifty trading up by 108 points or 0.59% at 18,117.55.

Top Gainer & Losers on BSE:

Tech Mahindra, TCS and HCL Technologies were the top Sensex gainers today, while Bajaj Finance, Bharti Airtel Ltd, and Hindustan Unilever were the top Sensex losers.

The indices traded in a higher manner in the broader markets, with the BSE Mid-cap index surging by 0.62% and the BSE Small-cap index gaining 0.73%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers were PI Industries and Oil India, while the top small-cap gainers were Oriental Hotels and GMR Power & Urban Infra Ltd.

The indices were trading green on the sectoral front, with the BSE IT Index and BSE Realty Index leading the gainers. The BSE Realty Index surged by 1.48%, led by IB Real Estate and Godrej Properties while the BSE IT Index jumped 1.88%, led by Tanla Platforms and Nucleus Software Exports.
