The Indian benchmark indices were trading higher with BSE Capital Goods Index shining among all the sectoral indices, up by 1.50%.

On Wednesday, the benchmark indices were trading higher with Sensex up around 210 points or 0.36% at 58,109.74, and the Nifty trading up by 72 points or 0.42% at 17,113.90.

Top Gainer & Losers on BSE:

L&T Ltd, Asian Paints and Tata Steel were the top Sensex gainers today, while Bharti Airtel, Hindustan Unilever and Nestle India were the top Sensex loser.

The indices traded in a high manner in the broader markets, with the BSE Mid-cap index surging by 0.52% and the BSE Small-cap index surging by 0.69%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers are PB Fintech and Aurobindo Pharma, while the top small-cap gainers were Rama Phospates and Kopran.

The indices were trading mixed on the sectoral front, with the BSE Capital Goods Index leading the gainers and BSE Telecommunication Index leading the losers. The BSE Capital Goods Index soared by 1.50%, led by L&T Ltd and GMR Infrastructure while the BSE Telecommunication Index plunged by 0.47%, dragged down by Bharti Airtel and Indus Towers.
