The Indian benchmark indices were trading flat with BSE Realty Index shining among all the sectoral indices. 

On Wednesday, the benchmark indices were trading flat with Sensex down around 45 points or 0.07% at 61,003.20, and the Nifty trading down by 8 points or 0.05% at 17,921.55. 

Top Gainer & Losers on BSE: 

Reliance Industries, Maruti Suzuki and Tata Steel were the top Sensex gainers today, while L&T Ltd, ITC Ltd and Hindustan Unilever were the top Sensex losers.

The indices traded higher in the broader markets, with the BSE Mid-cap index surging by 0.28% and the BSE Small-cap index surging by 0.25%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers were Torrent Power and TVS Motors, while the top small-cap gainers were Rossell India and Technocraft Industries Ltd.

The indices were trading mixed on the sectoral front, with the BSE Realty Index leading the gainers and the BSE FMCG Index leading the losers today. The BSE Realty Index surged by 1%, led by IB Real Estate and Godrej Properties while the BSE FMCG Index fell by 0.98%, dragged down by Globus Spirits and Bannari Amman Sugars.
