Domestic benchmark indices were trading higher with BSE Utilities Index trending among all sectoral indices. 

On Monday, the benchmark indices were trading higher with Sensex up around 593 points or 1% at 60,400.13, and the Nifty trading up by 178 points or 1.01% at 17,772.30. About 2,318 shares have advanced, 1,051 declined, and 188 are unchanged on the BSE.

Top gainers and losers On BSE Sensex Index are as follows:

The top Sensex gainers were State Bank of India, Bharti Airtel and ICICI Bank whereas the top Sensex losers were Asian Paints, Tech Mahindra and UltraTech Cement.

The BSE Power Index and BSE Utilities were the top gaining on the sectorial indices. The BSE Power Index soared 2.45%, led by Adani Transmission and Adani Power while the BSE Utilities Index was up 2.82%, led by Adani Green Energy and JSW Energy.
