Domestic benchmark indices were trading higher with the BSE Mid-cap index up 0.69% and the BSE Small cap index up 0.79%

On Thursday, the benchmark indices were trading higher with Sensex up around 176 points or 0.30% at 61,369 and the Nifty trading down by 56 points or 0.31% at 18,146. About 2,179 shares have advanced, 1,314 declined, and 136 are unchanged on the BSE. 

Top gainers and losers On BSE Sensex Index are as follows: 
The top Sensex gainers were Bajaj Finance, State Bank of India and Tata Steel whereas the top Sensex losers were IndusInd Bank, ICICI Bank and Power Grid Corporation of India.
 

The BSE Metals Index was the top gaining among the sectorial indices and BSE Realty Index was the top losing sector. The BSE Metals Index soared 0.80%, led by Jindal Steel and Tata Steel while the BSE Realty Index was down 0.70% dragged down by Godrej Properties and Macrotech Developers Ltd.
