Domestic benchmark indices were trading flat with BSE Healthcare Index trending among all sectoral indices.

On Friday, the benchmark indices were trading flat with Sensex up around 89 points or 0.15% at 59,695.68, and the Nifty trading up by 25 points or 0.15% at 17,535.15. About 1,850 shares have advanced, 1,240 declined, and 150 are unchanged on the BSE.

Top gainers and losers On BSE Sensex Index are as follows:

The top Sensex gainers were Bajaj Finserv, Asian Paints and Nestle India whereas the top Sensex losers were Maruti Suzuki, Mahindra & Mahindra and Tata Steel

The BSE Healthcare Index was the top gaining on the sectorial indices and BSE Metals Index was the top loser on the sectorial indices. The BSE Healthcare Index soared 0.79%, led by Davis Laboratories and Sanofi India while the BSE Metals Index fell 2%, dragged down by Hindalco Steel Industries and Jindal Steel.

The indices in the broader markets were trading higher, with the BSE Midcap index up 0.29% and the BSE Small cap index up 0.41%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers were Policy Bazaar and Vodafone Idea, while the top small-cap gainers were Olectra and Indian Bulls Real Estate Ltd.
