Domestic benchmark indices were trading flat with the BSE Mid-cap index down 0.45% and the BSE Small cap index down 0.35%.

On Friday, the benchmark indices were trading flat with Sensex up around 17 points or 0.04% at 61,450 and the Nifty trading up by 13 points or 0.06% at 18,118. About 1,461 shares have advanced, 1,887 declined, and 135 are unchanged on the BSE.

Top gainers and losers On BSE Sensex Index are as follows: 
The top Sensex gainers were Tata Motors, Infosys and Tech Mahindra whereas the top Sensex losers were Tata Steel, Asian Paints and Power Grip Corporation of India.
  

The BSE IT Index was the top gaining among the sectorial indices and BSE Utilities Index was the top losing sector. The BSE IT Index soared 0.65%, led by Cybertech Systems & Software and Newgen Technologies while the BSE Utilities Index was down 1.50% dragged down by Adani Green Energy and Adani Transmission.

On May 19, the below-listed low-price stocks were locked in the upper circuit. Keep a watch on them for further movements.
