Domestic benchmark indices were trading lower with the BSE Mid-cap index up 0.70% and the BSE Small-cap index up 0.20%. 

On Wednesday, the benchmark indices were trading lower with Sensex down around 500 points or 0.85% at 61,405 and the Nifty trading down by 137 points or 0.75% at 18,152. About 1,417 shares have advanced, 1,939 declined, and 139 are unchanged on the BSE. 

Top gainers and losers On BSE Sensex Index are as follows: 
The top Sensex gainers were IndusInd Bank, Mahindra & Mahindra and Bharti Airtel whereas the top Sensex losers were Tata Consultancy Services, HCL Technologies and Kotak Mahindra Bank.
 

The BSE Auto Index was the top gaining among the sectorial indices and BSE Realty Index was the top losing sector. The BSE Auto Index soared 0.05%, led by Hero Motor Corporation and MRF India while the BSE Realty Index was down 1.77% dragged down by Macrotech Developers and Godrej Properties.

On May 17, the below-listed low-price stocks were locked in the upper circuit. Keep a watch on them for further movements.

The indices in the broader markets were trading lower, with the BSE Mid-cap index down 0.60% and the BSE Small cap index down 0.15%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers were Exide Industries and Varun Beverages while the top small-cap gainers were Vesuvius India Ltd and Abans Holdings.
